The Memory Lab is a station on the Upper Level of the library where you can digitize photographs and documents. The Memory Lab is available to all patrons aged 13 or older and is available on a first come, first served basis.

Use of the memory lab is a self-led activity.

If you would like to be trained on how to use the memory lab equipment, please call (703) 248-5031 to schedule an appointment.

Not all staff are trained in Memory Lab use, and instruction may not be available on a walk-in basis. 

Equipment:

Epson Expression 12000xl Scanner: This scanner can be used to scan photos and paper documents. Multiple items can be scanned simultaneously. 

ST-ViewScan Microfiche & Microfilm Reader: The ST-ViewScan is used to read and scan Microfiche and Microfilm documents.
