Prevent the summer slide or just challenge yourself to sink into some good books this summer! Sign up for Summer Reading at the library starting June 3rd.

Programs for all ages, 0-125!

Dates to remember:

First day to sign up and start logging books: June 3
Last day to sign up for Summer Reading: August 9
Prizes available starting: August 12
Last day to log books and pick up prizes: August 30
Raffle prizes pulled: September 3

How do I participate in Summer Reading?

Visit Mary Riley Styles Public Library starting June 3 to sign up and get your bingo card!
Get Bingo (read five books) to earn a free book at the end of the summer.
Earn awesome prizes the more you read!

What are the Summer Reading Prizes?

Read-to-Me, Independent Readers, Teens, and Adults who complete their first Bingo earn a raffle ticket and a free book. For each additional Bingo, you earn another raffle ticket (up to 5 tickets total).

Independent Readers and Teens will also get the Coupon Book with their first Bingo. And those Independent Readers, Teens, and Adults who complete a Bingo Clean Sweep (complete every box on the bingo card) will earn an additional free book.

Our book prizes for kids and teens are generously purchased by the Mary Riley Styles Public Library Foundation! Adults will receive a coupon for a free book from the Book Sale.

Raffle prizes for all levels are gift cards to local businesses. Teens and Adults will be entered into our grand prize raffle for a Kindle Paperwhite!

Prizes must be claimed in person, no prizes will be mailed.
