Event Details
This presentation will describe recommendations for exercise quantity for different groups and how to meet those guidelines. I will also explain the different aspects of the FITT principle (frequency, intensity, time, and type) and how to use this principle to manipulate exercise programs to reach desired fitness goals.
About the Instructor
Ashley Ching is the Membership Coordinator at BDI and is an ACSM-certified personal trainer. She received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and has a master's degree in health science from Trident University International. After having a baby herself, Ashley became passionate about helping other women have healthy pregnancies and is now a certified Oh Baby! Prenatal Fitness Instructor.
