Event Details
Teens going into grades 9-12 are invited to TAB - Talk About Books!
TAB is a book discussion group for high school students. Every month, we will discuss that month's book at the beginning of our meeting. At the end of the meeting, we will discuss what else everyone has been reading. Special book group copies are set aside roughly one month before the discussion and can be requested on a first come, first serve basis at the youth services desk.
Book Schedule:
- June 16: Halfway There by Christine Mari (Graphic Novel; Memoir)
- July 21: The Otherwhere Post by Emily Taylor (Fantasy)
- August 18: I Killed Zoe Spanos by Kit Frick (Mystery)
Didn't read the book? Don't worry!
The last 15 minutes of the meeting are dedicated to discussing whatever you have been reading. Recommend a book you love, rant (without spoilers) about a book you didn't love. We're all ears. You can also pick up some great recommendations from the group!
Registration requested, drop-ins welcome.
Registering helps us make sure we get enough snacks!
