Authors attending:

  • Arthur Amchan, author of The Peaceniks

Arthur Amchan has worked in the field of law for 50 years but has spent much of his spare time as an amateur historian, focusing on U.S. history, modern Germany and Russia. The Peaceniks is the story of the U.S. senators who took unpopular stands resisting the United States' rush to war in the 20th and 21st centuries. In each case, their positions gained wider acceptance with the passage of time.

  • L.M. Berthiaume, author of Defining Me

LM Berthiaume is a former commercial real estate executive who embraced the opportunity to pursue her literary dreams. Her first novel, Defining Me, came to fruition after years of wishing followed by months of encouragement from friends. Now, after hours and hours of typing, editing, retyping, and editing some more, she is proud to finally share this story.

  • Phillip Church, author of The Hong Kong Gambit

In his break-out novel Phil Church draws on his U.S. Foreign Service career as a development economist living and working in Latin America and Asia to produce a fictional international crime thriller that will enlighten readers about the very real world of human trafficking, and how their proactive awareness can help combat this global scourge.

  • Sara Fitzgerald, author of Conquering Heroines: How Women Fought Sex Bias at Michigan and Paved the Way for Title IX

A retired journalist and an award-winning author of both non-fiction and fiction who spent the bulk of her professional career as an editor and reporter, including 15 years at The Washington Post, Sara Fitzgerald writes to share the struggles and successes of a previous generation of women, stories that inspired her own life.
