Program Description

Event Details

This is our first in-person meeting for the Mystery Book Club.  We will meet on Monday this month.

We are discussing Ministry of Fear by Graham Greene.  Published in 1943 it is a suspenseful murder thriller set in Britain during the blitzkrieg of WWII.  Written during the war, it is a gripping story that follows the character of Arthur Rowe as he finds himself embroiled in espionage and murder, in the midst of bombings by the Germans.

Mystery Book Club

Come in, get cozy and enjoy a group discussion of books of mystery and suspense by famous and lesser known authors from the Golden Age of Mysteries.  Meetings will be held every other month, usually on the 4th Wednesday of that month. We have been holding Hybrid meetings; you can join in-person or via zoom

Need a copy of the book? Please search our online catalog or our Overdrive ebook/audiobook collection to check the availability of this book. Special book group copies are also set aside roughly one month before the discussion and can be requested on a first come, first serve basis by emailing circ@fallschurchva.gov
