Author Talk: Mike Richman -- George Allen: A Football Life

Join pro football author and historian Mike Richman for a talk on his latest book, George Allen: A Football Life, followed by a book signing.

Mr. Richman is also the author of The Redskins Encyclopedia, the Washington Redskins Football Vault and Joe Gibbs: An Enduring Legacy. He has hosted the TV show “Burgundy and Gold Magazine” on Montgomery Access TV and the radio show “Burgundy and Gold Flashback” on the ESPN affiliate in D.C, and he co-hosted the “D.C. Sports Blitz” on the ESPN affiliate in Charlottesville, VA. In his career, he’s written many feature and news articles on a myriad of topics that have appeared in major publications including The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Baltimore Sun and Sports Illustrated magazine, and wire services such as the Associated Press, United Press International and Bloomberg Business News. Plus, he’s interviewed many notable people, including the late U.S. Senator and Vietnam-era POW John McCain, legendary news anchor Walter Cronkite, astronaut Buzz Aldrin and star NFL quarterbacks Joe Namath, Joe Theismann, Sonny Jurgensen and Roger Staubach.
