Book Sale

Quarterly we hold a used book sale in our Upper Level Conference Room. Get great bargains on books, compact discs, and DVDs for all ages.

(Any time you are in the library you can also check out our smaller ongoing book sale on the two shelves in our Main Reading Room.) 

All proceeds support library programs and services!

Join us and meet up with other foreign language speakers to practice and improve your skills.  These meetings are a casual, conversational format.

New Yorker Discussion Group

Enjoy reading The New Yorker but wish you had someone to chat about it with? Drop into the monthly New Yorker Discussion Group to share your thoughts on what you’ve read in a variety of articles. The group meets on the first Thursday of the month from 2-3 pm on Zoom.

Wednesday Evening Book Club

The Wednesday Evening Book Club typically meets the second Wednesday evening of every other month and reads a wide range of fiction and nonfiction. 

Need a copy of the book? Please search our online catalog or our Overdrive ebook/audiobook collection to check the availability of this book. Special book group copies are also set aside roughly one month before the discussion and can be requested on a first come, first serve basis by emailing circ@fallschurchva.gov. 

Want to read reviews and background material? Optional background material - including reviews, author bios, and author interviews - can be found on the Wednesday Evening Book Club's website roughly one week before the discussion.
