Poetry Workshop

Join others interested in learning to write poetry! In the first session, the instructor will share some poetry, help brainstorm about ideas for your poem, and bring your poem to the next level. You will have the opportunity to consult with the instructor as you work on your poem. We will have time at the end to share our poetry, or you can keep your poem private.

We will meet for a second session to share some of your beloved poems (yours or other poets), to discuss the process of refining our poems and to share our finished works.

Pamela Huffman has been an educator both in Fairfax County Public Schools and at Falls Church Arts. She has taught poetry previously at MRSPL and has been writing poetry since she can remember. She is excited to guide you on your poetry writing journey.
